Here are some beginning pictures of the project I have been working on for WEEKS. Mostly painting and spackling. I have one wall left to paint in the living room. It was behind the china cabinet.

This weekend was floor install! We installed Pergo Accolade in Midnight Mahogany. It is VERY lovely, and very tough. So it should work great with the kids and dogs. They went nuts on it earlier, and it is still fine.

We need to do the hallway, but we have to work with the trim to all the doors first.

We are also trying to figure out a plan for the trim. We were going to strip and restain what we had. But it is very brittle, and damaged from the paint and the stripping chemicals made it look a little odd also. I am going to see what happens after I wipe it down with wood soap.

We also need to swap out electrical outlets. Ours are in various states of old and cranky.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me why at dance recitals, the front row has this weird orange look, the second row has more of a normal light on them, and the back row has some freaky EXTRA white light on them?

It really makes photo-editing a PAIN IN THE ASS.

Also, what is up with the annoying red and pink filters that knock everything off color?

*sigh*

My (somewhat okay) pictures of the child on pointe, are all screwy cause she looks like she had a bad accident with Spray-on Tan.
